Abstract
In summer 2011, field ethnographic researches for the achievement of a documentary movie on the ethnic groups on the right and left banks of River Prut took place in several villages in south Bessarabia, in Bugeacului steppe, where several colonization populations live together, with a feeling of better defined ethnic solidarity. In time, differences between these communities of Romanians, Gagauzs and Bulgarians diminished, ways of cohabitation being gradually found, the usage of the Russian language being one of the coagulating factors. Still, many of the traditions of such various ethnic communities have been preserved until nowadays.
