Abstract
Based on Ştefania Cristescu’s personal archives, the author reconstructs her style of work (as well as that of the monographic team) and the contents of her field-research during the monographic campaign of 1930 in the village of Runcu – Gorj. In the second part of the study, five examples of charms collected at Runcu are reproduced.
