Abstract
The rejuvenation of the cultural life in the small mountain town of Câmpulung (Suceava County) is centered on the foundation of the „Art of Wood” Museum, and on the rehabilitation of the old Ethnography museum building. The construction project is complemented by a cultural reinsertion project, aimed at rebuilding the public awareness toward the new/old museum, by means of cultural as well as community activities, focused mainly on the wood-crafts and wood-centered traditional occupations of the region.
