Corneliu CIUCANU, VINTILĂ HORIA ÎN DOSARELE SECURITĂŢII

Revista „Cercetări istorice” – XL – 2021

Abstract

Following the establishment of communism in Romania, some of the Romanians who remained or fled to the Western countries, through reactions and cultural-political activities, constituted the militant anti-communist exile. In order to neutralize the hostile actions of the popular democracy regime in the country, the Securitate implemented the so-called „active measures” within the Romanian anti-communist emigration. Vintilă Horia case is an example of the attitude of the communist regime in Bucharest towards the „reactionary forces from outside”, reflecting a „classic” operation of discrediting and isolating a personality from exile.
