Abstract
Constantin V. Ostap (1925-2014) was a famous publicist who published numerous books and articles regarding the history of the city of Iași. He graduated the Faculty of Electrotechnics (1954), he elaborated works regarding the introduction of electric lighting and the electric tramway public transport public. The personal collection “Constantin Ostap” reflects the “worksite” of the publicist of Iași, but contains a considerable volume of archivist documents regarding numerous aspects of local and family history. Manuscripts of other authors are also contained therein: D. Furtună, G. Flocosu, Gligor Popi. It is also here that is preserved a file with the documents of the domain Cernaţi (1806-1940), a file with the documents of family Cernătescu (1858-1894), as well as a file with the documents of the family Constantin Simionescu (1886-1943). The are also included four (original) property documents of the period 1772-1852.
