ABSTRACT
This report refers to the preventive archeological research undertaken at the Secu Monastery, through sounding excavations. The activity described here must be considered only a modest start in the research of a perimeter well defined geographically, historically and culturally. The research team hopes to be able to make important steps forward, especially that restoration works are taken into consideration for the Secu Monastery. Moreover, the infrastructure development activities in the area that involve interventions in the ground, shall be closely monitored.
