Aspects of the Romanian interwar liberalism

(Abstract)

The article presents a series of aspects regarding the evolution of the National Liberal Party in Romania during the interwar period. With a long historical tradition on its side, the formation imposed itself both through the duration of the periods in which it was in government, and through a series of achievements of a legislative and social-economic nature. Last but not least, the liberals offered the example of some valuable political leaders, attached to the fundamental interests of the Romanian state, the most famous of them being Ionel Brătianu.
