Abstract
The paper aims to present and to analyze the elements of interest captured in an aerial photograph taken on 11.05.1944 by the German army above the area of Băiceni village, in whose perimeter is situated the eponymous settlement of the Cucuteni civilization.
The published photograph represents an original historical document, which allows to describe the evolution of the phenomena and events which affected this important archaeological monument throughout the time.
