Abstract
The house on the Sărărie street knew numerous owners, the oldest being Elena, daughter of chronicler Manolache Drăghichi. The house was rebuilt by Costache Angonescu, former member of the Parliament, among the inhabitants being also the mayor of the city of Iași, Gheorghe Lascăr. It was here that lived literary critic Garabet Ibrăileanu and also here was one of the editorial headquarters of magazine “Viaţa Românească”.
